Completed a PhD in Architecture at Victoria University of Wellington (VUW) in 2015. The thesis investigated the reuse of existing design solutions as a means to improve designers’ ability to learn and use algorithmic modelling systems in architecture and design. The study explored the ways to reduce programming barriers, and to improve architects’ ability to translate their design ideas into form-making algorithms. Master studies at DIA – Dessau International Architecture (Germany, 2010)  focused on parametric formal exploration of abstract topics within the algorithmic design agenda, digital fabrication and creation of responsive design structures. Degree in architecture at MGTU 2007 (Russia, Magnitogorks).
